MOROCCO TOURS FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the best month to travel to Morocco?

If you want to explore the Sahara desert, the best time to go is from October to April when the weather is cooler and more pleasant for outdoor activities.

In contrast, if you want to enjoy the beaches in Morocco, the best time to visit is from May to September when the weather is warm and sunny.

The spring (March to May) and fall (September to November) months are generally the best times to visit Morocco as the weather is mild and comfortable for outdoor activities.

These seasons also offer the opportunity to experience some of the country’s cultural festivals and events, such as the Fes Festival of World Sacred Music and the Marrakech International Film Festival.

The summer months (June to August) can be very hot, especially in the desert areas, and are best avoided if you are not used to extreme temperatures. However, if you do decide to visit during this time, the coastal areas and the Atlas Mountains provide some relief from the heat.

Overall, the best time to visit Morocco depends on your personal preferences and the activities you plan to do. It is always a good idea to research the weather conditions in the specific regions you plan to visit and pack accordingly.

How many days do you need to see Morocco?

The number of days you need to see Morocco depends on your travel preferences, the places you want to visit, and the activities you plan to do.

If you are interested in exploring the main tourist destinations like Marrakech, Fes, and Casablanca, a week would be enough time to see the highlights.

This would allow you to spend a couple of days in each city and also visit nearby attractions like the Sahara desert, the Atlas Mountains, and the coastal towns of Essaouira or Agadir.

If you have more time and want to experience more of Morocco’s culture and natural beauty, you can consider spending 10-14 days in the country. This would give you more time to explore the cities, take day trips to nearby villages, and even venture out on multi-day treks in the Atlas Mountains or the Sahara Desert.

If you have less than a week, you can focus on one or two destinations and make the most of your time there. For example, you could spend three days in Marrakech and then head to the nearby Atlas Mountains for a two-day trek.

Ultimately, the length of your trip to Morocco will depend on your travel preferences and the places you want to see.
It’s a good idea to research your itinerary beforehand and plan accordingly to make the most of your time in the country.

Is Morocco a cheap place to travel?

Morocco can be an affordable destination to travel, but the cost of your trip will depend on your travel style and budget. Here are some factors that can affect the cost of your trip to Morocco:

Accommodation: The cost of accommodation in Morocco can vary depending on the type of lodging you choose. You can find budget-friendly options like hostels or guesthouses, or you can splurge on luxury hotels and riads. Prices can range from $10-$15 for a budget hostel to $100-$150 for a mid-range hotel per night.

Transportation: Transportation in Morocco is relatively inexpensive, and you can choose from various modes of transport like taxis, buses, and trains. A taxi ride in a city can cost around $3-$5, while a train ticket between cities can cost around $10-$20.
Food: Moroccan cuisine is known for being flavorful and affordable. Street food options like tagine or couscous can cost around $2-$5, while a meal at a mid-range restaurant can cost around $10-$15.

Activities: The cost of activities and tours in Morocco can vary depending on the type of experience you want. Visiting museums and historical sites can cost around $5-$10 per person, while a desert tour or a guided trek can cost several hundred dollars.

Overall, Morocco can be a budget-friendly destination if you are willing to stay in budget accommodations, eat street food, and use public transportation. However, if you want to splurge on luxury accommodations, private tours, or fancy restaurants, your trip can become more expensive.

Truely amazing experience esp with Morocco travel land! Mohsine was our guide and he was very accommodating and always make sure that we are well taken care of during the entire trip. Mohsine brought us to many scenic places for picture and was very patient towards us. He made the trip especially special for us and gave us a very memorable time there. I highly recommend Morocco Travel Land if you want a fuss free holiday because all I did was to inform him I will be there for 10 days and everything is taken care of. Trustworthy guide and company with very reasonable fees.

Wonderful Desert tours from marrakech This was the part of our 3 day trip to Morocco from casablanca that we were the most excited about... and guys of Morocco Travel Land did the tour deliver! Our tour guide Mohsine, was wonderful! He got us to all the panoramic views along our trip between Marrakech and Fes (3 days desert tour). We got to see old towns, carpet cooperatives and the beautiful countryside of Morocco. We managed to see everything and at no point did we feel rushed. By far the best part was the dunes and camel ride. Well worth the drives during the day... which were made very entertaining by Mohsine

Good Transport Service Great transport service. Ismael provided timely responses to all of my emails inquiries during the planning. He helped to coordinate the desired customized itinerary. He was my dedicated driver every step of the way for 14 days from airport pick-up to airport drop-off. His vehicle is modern, clean, spacious, and comfortable. It has great A/C which is needed if you visit Morocco in the summer. He was always punctual, and he is a safety-conscious driver. He arranged some great guides for me in Fez, Marrakech, and Ouarzazate. He made hotel recommendations, and he can assist with hotel bookings if you desire. However, THIS IS A TRANSPORT SERVICE. Ismael is not a guide. If you plan to venture outside of Fez and Marrakech but do not feel comfortable doing self-guided exploration, then you will need to consider hiring local guides upon arrival. There is one small area for improvement. I certainly prefer safety-conscious drivers to safety-be-damned drivers. However, at times the driving was too slow. We were usually traveling at or just below the limit in 40 and 60 km/hr zones. However, we were often 15-20 km/hr below the limit in 80 and 100 km/hr zones. And this was on well-paved roads with minimal traffic. It took its toll over the course of 14 days. Some days we were on the road for 9+ hours. I do not advocate for speeding. However, just doing the speed limit instead of 10-15 below makes a huge difference over the course of a 2500 km road trip. Date of experience: July 2022
